Detailed Itinerary

Today you’ll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. A representative will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Arusha, which takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. You’ll have time to rest and recover from your flight. In the evening, you’ll meet your guide for a brief about your upcoming safari adventure. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Arusha.

Today your safari begins with an early morning drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, taking about 2-3 hours. You’ll spend the whole day exploring Tarangire, where you can see big herds of elephants and maybe even spot lions climbing trees among the huge baobab trees. After an exciting day of wildlife watching, you’ll drive to Karatu town for the night, staying at a comfortable lodge.

After breakfast, you’ll drive for about 1.5-2 hours to reach the famous Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll descend into the crater to see lots of animals, including elephants, lions, and if you’re lucky, the rare black rhino. Most of your day will be spent in this amazing place. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the crater and drive for 3-4 hours to reach Serengeti National Park. You’ll sleep at a lodge or campsite inside the Serengeti, falling asleep to the sounds of the wild.

You’ll start early today with a morning game drive in the Serengeti to see animals when they’re most active. The whole day is spent exploring different parts of this vast park, looking for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and many other animals. After a full day of adventure, you’ll return to your Serengeti lodge or camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

On your last day, you’ll have one more morning game drive in the Serengeti. Then it’s time to start the long journey back to Arusha, which takes about 6-8 hours. If your flight schedule allows, you might have some time for a final look at the wildlife or a short rest. Finally, you’ll be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home, carrying memories of an amazing safari experience.
