Day 1 | Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from Bora Trekking Tours and Safaris and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax after your journey and prepare for your safari briefing.

Day 2 | Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Today you enjoy a full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park, exploring its diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. During the dry season, many animals gather along the Tarangire River, creating excellent opportunities to observe their behavior at close range. This natural water source attracts elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species, often followed by predators.

With a full day in the park, you’ll have time to venture into more remote areas, appreciating both the dramatic and subtle moments of safari life — from majestic lions and graceful giraffes to the fascinating activity of dung beetles and vibrant birdlife. Your guide will share detailed insights about the wildlife, ecosystems, and unique features of the park, making the experience both exciting and educational.

In the late afternoon, you return to your lodge just outside the park for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 | Karatu – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll set off for the Central Serengeti! The journey lasts about 4-5 hours, and although the road might be a bit bumpy, it's well worth it for the chance to spot lots of animals along the way. If the weather is good, you'll make a 10-minute stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint to see the amazing caldera before continuing to the Serengeti.

There's an option to visit a Maasai Village along the way, providing you with a chance to experience their culture.

You'll enjoy a picnic lunch during the trip to take a break and soak in the views. Upon reaching the park, there will be an afternoon safari drive to spot even more animals. As the day ends, head to your comfortable tented lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night's sleep in the serene surroundings of the Serengeti.

Day 4 | Central to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for the northern region of Serengeti National Park, where the Great Migration often gathers near the Mara River. Enjoy game drives en route while searching for wildebeest herds, zebras, predators, and possibly dramatic river crossings depending on the season.

Day 5 | Full Day Northern Serengeti Migration Safari

At sunrise, we begin our adventure with a full-day game drive to explore the breathtaking landscapes of the northern Serengeti. Besides the famous migration crossing at the Mara River, this area boasts a wealth of other treasures. Look out for majestic big cats and other fascinating wildlife as we traverse the vast terrain. The day unfolds with countless opportunities to observe the diverse and captivating wildlife. Afterward, we’ll return to our accommodation for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Day 6 | Northern Serengeti – Ndutu Area

Begin your day at 6:00am a for a sunrise safari in the northern Serengeti, when animals are most active. After an exciting wildlife experience, enjoy a delightful breakfast at a picturesque picnic spot in the bush. Following this, you’ll transfer to the central Serengeti.

Continue the game drive until midday for further exploration and animal sightings. Pause for lunch and then journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. In the evening, you’ll arrive at your accommodations for a delicious dinner and a comfortable night’s stay.

Day 7 | Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After a leisurely breakfast, you depart from Karatu and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival around midday, you will be dropped off either in the city center or at the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
