Day 1 | Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife parks, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich concentration of wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, exploring its vast savannah and riverine landscapes while searching for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various bird species.

In the evening, head to your public campsite located inside the park for dinner and overnight under the African stars.

Day 2 | Tarangire Game Drive – Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park, the best time to witness predators and herbivores at their most active. After the game drive and breakfast, depart for Mto wa Mbu, a lively multicultural village near Lake Manyara.

Enjoy a guided cultural tour through the village, where you will visit banana plantations, local farms, schools, artisan workshops, and interact with local communities while learning about traditional Tanzanian lifestyles and customs.

Later, transfer to your campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 | Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive while exploring the endless plains filled with abundant wildlife.

Day 4 | Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Today, you’ll spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of Serengeti National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive at sunrise, returning to camp for breakfast. After packing a lunch, embark on a full-day safari across the stunning Serengeti plains, in pursuit of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife.

Serengeti offers more than just large mammals, over 500 bird species have been recorded here, from the towering ostrich and unique secretary bird of the open grasslands to the majestic black eagles soaring above the savannah. As you continue your wildlife search throughout the day, you’ll soak in the breathtaking landscapes before returning to camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 | Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands

We’ll start the day early, departing the campsite around 6:00 a.m. for a sunrise game drive when the animals are most active. Mid-morning, we’ll stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush. Afterward, the game drive continues before returning to camp around noon for a hot lunch. Once packed, we’ll depart the Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at Simba Campsite.

Day 6 | Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

At 6:00 a.m., we’ll board the safari vehicle and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. This remarkable conservation area, spanning approximately 260 square kilometres (100 square miles) and nearly 20 kilometres (12 miles) in diameter, is home to nearly every species of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, which we may be lucky enough to spot. You’ll have around 5 to 6 hours to explore the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife.

After the game drive, we’ll ascend from the crater and return to the campsite for your final meal with us. Then, we’ll drive back to Arusha, with an expected arrival time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
